About The Position

Location : Fort Defiance, AZ
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift Information : 12 hour shifts Days or Nights, must be flexible. In addition to inpatient, may be assigned to help cover Flu Immunization clinics as needed.
Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings.
Description :
Registered Nurse for Med-Surg Unit (MSU) for adult geriatrics and pediatric patients.
Excellent Staffing Ratios : Non Covid : typically 4 : 1, max 5 : 1. Covid patients : typically 2 : 1, max 3 : 1.
Required Certifications : American Heart Association BLS and ACLS. PALS is preferred
Experience : Three (3) years of med-surg experience, 1 year pediatric experience preferred, must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients.
Setting : 20 bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics
