First-time applicants accepted License : GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of application Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have : - Epic system experience- Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays- Ability to comply with full compliance requirements Job Description : - Provide care for an adult to geriatric patient population in a Medical Surgical ICU setting- Manage a range of diagnoses, including but not limited to : - Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest - GI Bleed, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Acute Kidney Disease - Pulmonary Edema, Drug Overdose, Metabolic Encephalopathy- Perform and assist with procedures such as : - Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) - Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) - Central line and arterial line maintenance- Conduct patient assessments and implement treatment plans- Participate in unit floating as required- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and recovery- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to healthcare regulations Additional Information : - Scrub color required : Navy Blue - Required to work holiday shifts based on the assignment period - Flexibility for floating and weekend scheduling - Flu vaccine required with only medical / religious exemptions accepted - Compliance must be completed promptly to avoid delays
