In this role, you will have the opportunity to work one of the largest Snowflake systems and with other talented engineers, support teams and end users to affect changes that will ensure cost efficiency, being well managed and interacting with all lines of business at the company.

What You''ll Do : Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutionsShare your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering communityManage, grow and maintain vendor relationships to ensure there is an open line of communication for support, new features and new offeringsUnderstand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutionsWork with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data modelsCreate logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancyOptimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projectsMaintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadataDevelop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data modelsPerform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scriptsValidate business data objects for accuracy and completenessAnalyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutionsDevelop data models according to company standardsReview modifications to existing software to improve efficiency and performanceCapital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.
