About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM)

Experience : Minimum (2) years of strong ICU experience; current experience in interventional radiology preferred

License : RN License

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required; Critical Care Certification and trauma course preferred

Must-Have :

Moderate sedation experience

Current interventional radiology experience

Description :

The unit performs image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for a broad range of services for patients with various conditions.

Interventional radiology is a medical sub-specialty utilizing minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases in nearly every organ system.

The objective of interventional radiology is to diagnose and treat patients using the least invasive techniques available.

This approach minimizes risk to the patient and improves health outcomes.

Staff will have a rotating schedule with no set shifts and no block scheduling.

The role requires covering call shifts on weekends and holidays, with 3-4 call shifts in a 6-week period.

Essential skills and experience in critical care nursing and moderate sedation are necessary for success in this role.
