The Data Entry Specialist supports the Programs team in refugee resettlement and post-resettlement case management and employment programming by performing critical data entry and record keeping functions for clients.
The position will be responsible for data entry, data tracking, and file up-keeping. The objective of the program is to enroll clients in programming.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and integration within case management database systems.
- Complete data entry for clients during and after intake.
- Ensure data is accurate, completing regular data entry quality assurance.
- Ensure data systems are matching and up to date.
- Support record keeping and organization of client folders.
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings and periodic training sessions.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and effective communicator.
- Ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in additional languages strongly preferred, particularly Haitian Creole, French, or Spanish.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Human Services, Counseling, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in data entry and administration.
- Experience working with immigrant populations preferred.
- Candidate must have dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, and asylees.
