Compensation : $220-240k base salary + 30-40% annual bonus
Company
Our client are an established global renewable energy developer spanning across over 10 countries, and founded almost 2 decades ago.
They specialize in large greenfield or brownfield utility scale solar, energy storage and wind project development, and have a total pipeline of over 30GW, with multiple GWs operating.
They are committed to significantly expanding their US operations on a national level over the next 5 years, and we are looking for an ambitious and talented Snr Director of Project Development to join with them on this mission.
Role
As Senior Director of Project Development, you will be developing and managing a portfolio of utility scale solar and energy storage projects, predominantly across ERCOT, MISO, PJM and the East, including greenfield and M&A opportunities as well as managing and scaling a project development team.
Reporting into the SVP of Project Development, this role will have significant strategic and growth input, and has the potential to progress quickly.
You will also be working with renowned partners in the renewable energy development space, as well as strong internal EPC and O&M teams.
Skills / experience needed
- Minimum of 6 years utility scale renewable energy development experience (solar or energy storage)
- Demonstrated success originating and progressing large utility scale renewable energy projects throughout the whole life cycle
- Prior proven success managing and scaling project development teams
- Experience across multiple ISOs / RTOs across the Central & Eastern US
- Ambitious self-starter
