Safety Monitor
Primary Responsibilities : Point of Contact : Act as the primary point person during after-hours events and activities.Direct all visitors and staff to the appropriate locations.
Safety Management : Ensure that individuals entering the buildings after hours are properly greeted and vetted.Manage building security by monitoring access.
Door Management : Assist with the opening and closing of doors for events.Ensure that access control measures are in place for community members and guests.
Community Assistance : Provide support to community members, answering questions and addressing concerns.Serve as a key contact in case of emergencies.
Additional Duties : Perform other tasks as needed during downtime to support building operations and various departments.
Required Training : Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) : Monitors will be trained in crisis prevention and intervention techniques.
Raptor System : Monitors will be trained to use the Raptor visitor management system to ensure the safety of the building by screening visitors.
New York State S.H.E.L.L.Monitor will be trained in NYS mandated School Safety PlansCPR, AED, and First Aid : Monitors will be trained in life-saving procedures, including CPR, the use of AEDs, and basic First Aid.
