- Prepares lesson plans for classroom and laboratory instruction for specified courses.
- Organize and conduct classes using a variety of learning experiences and activities.

- Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the Advanced Manufacturing training area .
- Works with Lead Instructor to plan and conduct outreach to the business community with the goal to develop partnerships and delivery of college services locally and regionally.
- Assist in the recruitment and registration of prospective and enrolledstudents.
- Maintains workforce and technical knowledge of advanced manufacturing programsincluding,IndustryCertifications.
- Provide administrative oversight for the Advanced Manufacturing Center's credit programs.
- Teach courses in areas / departments where skillsets may be of need
- Coordinate with Economic Development on the scheduling of classes and programs within the Advanced Manufacturing Center.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, with 3 to 5-years teaching experience or 1 to 3-years teaching in Mechatronics Technology related courses in a technical college environment.
Teaching experience must include Industrial Mechanics, Fluid Power Systems, and other Mechatronics based curriculum. In addition to teaching Mechatronics curricula, the adjunct instructor should also have experience training and overseeing students in each required Mechatronics Technology Laboratory.

Preferred Qualifications :
Accredited Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, with postsecondary teaching experience.
Industry or teaching experience in Introduction to Mechatronics, Industrial Mechanics, Fluid Power Systems, Industrial Motor Controls, Basic Industrial PLC’s, Industrial Instrumentation, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, and other Mechatronics Technology based courses.
In addition to technical lectures, the adjunct instructor should have experience in Mechanical Hands-on Training Equipment, Hydraulic Instructional Paraphernalia, Pneumatic Training Apparatus, Practical Mechanical Teaching Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) System Devices (Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC Systems).
Familiarity with training systems such as Festo or Amatrol Virtual Training Software would be a plus for each candidate.
