Compensation :

$70,000 - $85,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Assist attorneys at the CAVA Law Firm in Coral Gables, Florida by aiding in the preparation and drafting of legal documents.
  • Manage e-filing systems and coordinate meeting schedules and court dates efficiently.
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels with clients, ensuring timely updates and gathering necessary information.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and analyze data to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Oversee the organization of documents with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Utilize MyCase or TimeSlips software for streamlined case management and time-tracking purposes.
  • Offer assistance in bankruptcy law, civil litigation, and civil estate cases as required.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a paralegal in a professional environment is required.
  • Possession of a Paralegal certificate or an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is necessary; equivalent experience may be considered in place of certification.
  • Proficient in e-filing procedures and adept at preparing legal documents.
  • Fluency in English (native) and Spanish (B2+) is a must.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal practices and procedures is essential.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities are necessary.
  • Proficiency in using MyCase or TimeSlips software is preferred.
  • Experience with eDiscovery and litigation technology is a valuable asset.
