What's a typical day as a Maintenance Worker? You'll be :
- Installing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production equipment, tools, facilities, and vehicles.
- Ensuring a safe and customer service-oriented environment for employees.
- Operating hand tools, electrical and pneumatic powered tools.
- Reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Fabricating production / facility equipment using welding, brazing, plumbing, and basic electrical knowledge.
- Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving parts and equipment.
- Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes and paperwork.
- Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have a high school diploma.
- Have 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Have intermediate reading comprehension and basic math skills.
- Are proficient in MS Office programs.
- Can demonstrate safe and effective operation of required equipment and tools.
- Can read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and measuring devices.
- Have the ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and mechanical systems.
- Have the ability to read, speak, write, and understand basic English.
- Have a valid driver's license and required industrial truck certifications.
- Have the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, carry, climb, balance, and use hands for tool usage.
- Can visually inspect products.
- Can work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
- Can wear all required personal protective equipment.
