The client is a Wisconsin small business located in the Franklin Industrial Park. We are a custom robotics system integrator focused on building strong relationships with our clients to provide tailored solutions for growth and success.
With over 20 years of experience in robotic automation. As a FANUC Authorized Systems Integrator, we specialize in picking, packing, palletizing, and machine load / unloading to increase workforce efficiency and enable future expansion.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for tasks including electrical design, electricity systems maintenance, electrical engineering processes, and power distribution optimization to support our custom robotics solutions.
Qualifications
Electrical Design and Power Distribution skills
Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in automation or robotics is a plus
Job Description :
PLC Programming (Allen Bradley) (2-5Years)
Electrical design - proficient in ACAD - ACAD Electrical a plus
HMI Programming - Allen Bradley a plus
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience in Electricity and Power Systems
Fluent knowledge of PC's, MS office, windows operating environment.
Valid driver's license
PLC programming (2-5 years) - Allen Bradley preferred
HMI programming (2-5 years) - Allen Bradley preferred
Addition skills desired, but not required :
Cognex Vision
FANUC iR Vision
Keyence Vision
Wiring skills a plus
Knowledge of FANUC programming
Ignition programming a plus
Location : Milwaukee
The job will be non-repetitive in nature with 5-8 programming projects per year
The estimated job categories are :
30% PLC / HMI Programming
20% Schematic design / panel layout & BOM
25% Assembly / wiring
20% Onsite installation / programming
5% Misc.
The estimated travel for the position will be around 10-20%.
Some weekend work will be required.
