Job Description Summary :
Oversees and leads all property level and financial service functions for Enterprise Residential. Leads financial analysis functions for Enterprise Residential.

Oversee timely and accurate full cycle month-end close process for 100 plus unique reporting entities and dissemination of financial management reports to management and external partners.
Direct the audit process for those 100 plus unique reporting entities and serve as liaison with third party auditors to ensure completion of audits and tax returns within tight reporting deadlines.
Research and respond to inquiries from investors, lenders, regulatory and tax agencies.
Oversee some accounts payable functions ensuring timely and accurate payment and effective cash control.
Oversee and maintain budget management functions for managed properties, ensuring timely and accurate preparation as well as provide budget to actual analysis, as requested.
Maintain Yardi accounting information system including financial statement presentation and chart of account structures.
Develop, implement, and lead system and process improvements to maintain effective internal controls and data integrity.
Oversee and conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.
Work closely with operations management teams to provide financial data and research to assist in the effective operation of the properties.
Oversee and analyze monthly portfolio trends and analysis and report findings to ownership and external partners.
Strategically manages and oversees weekly cash analysis to ensure appropriate levels of funding.
Oversee and lead the annual preparation of unique property waterfalls and related surplus cash payments to internal and third-party stakeholders for all managed properties.
Proactively reach out to business partners to engage and participate in key meetings.
Support strategic initiatives with business partners.
Provide input and support for board presentations. Work closely with ECD Corporate finance team to provide and track intercompany source and uses.
Oversee training initiatives and opportunities for the management company staff as it relates to accounting and financial job functions.
Lead a staff of Assistant Controllers, Senior, and Staff Accountants and support their development.
Additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages subordinate supervisors and accounting staff and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Enterprise Residential portfolio.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems .
Essential Skills, Experience and Talents
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field; CPA Preferred.
15 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in management.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and general ledger applications. Yardi experience, preferred.
Advanced technical skills including ability to understand cloud-based applications and advanced software literacy.
Exceptional analytical skills and detail orientation.
Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with associates at all levels and a wide range of external business partners.
Ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
Ability to work with strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 / year to $145,000 / year depending on level of skills and experience.
The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position.
Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
