BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECH

We have immediate openings for a full-time Behavioral Health Tech who are dedicated to making a meaningful difference for our clients.

This facility a new Mental Health facility located in downtown Austin.

Behavioral Health Tech for full-time open positions.

• 7am to 7pm (Day 12hr rotating schedule)
• 7pm to 7am (Overnight 12hr rotating schedule)
• PRN (as needed)

Below is a list of a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech :

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
• Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
• Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
• Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time.

All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.

• Daily chart documentation
• Be familiar with The Wood Group's policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

Requirements

• High school diploma / or equivalent required
• A valid Texas Driver's license, required.
• Certifications are not required for this position. CNA experience is a plus.
• Experience working in the mental health field, preferred.
