Project Manager up to Sr Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Facilities Design Engineering

BGE, Inc will hire a Project Manager up to a Sr PM to lead the design and engineering efforts of Water / Wastewater Treatment Facility Plants.

You can out of one of our Austin, TX offices : South Austin (Directors Blvd) or North Austin (Louis Henna Blvd).

Job Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• Registered PE in Texas required or can be acquired through reciprocity within 6 months of hire.
• 10+ years and up of experience working in public works and / or municipal services projects.
• Previous project management (or right-hand task lead to PM) experience in water / wastewater treatment facilities (biological treatment systems, membrane treatment facilities, pump stations, and piping design)

Job Qualifications

• Perform project management work on a variety of civil engineering projects related to water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and pump stations facilities.
• Oversee the performance of multiple project managers and / or engineers and their teams.
• Perform, coordinate and oversee the completion of various engineering tasks by technical staff and subconsultants.
• Lead project teams across simultaneous assignments
• Supervise and mentor engineers, designers and technicians.
• Manage the quality, timeliness and financial aspects of projects.
• Serve as point of contact for clients.
• Partner with senior staff in developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Lead or support the development of project pursuits, proposals, and interviews.
