Shifts Available :

1st : Monday through Saturday, 7 : 00am-3 : 00pm

2nd : Monday through Saturday, 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm

Job Requirements

  • 2 years electrical and mechanical experience required
  • Knowledge / experience diagnosing / troubleshooting problems with extrusion molding, blow molding, or injection molding processes and equipment is helpful
  • Working knowledge of electrical connections and work experience demonstrating functional working knowledge of electrical systems, electrician experience, 480, 420, 120, single phase and 3 phase, ladder logic, schematics, NEC code, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, OSHA, and auxiliary facility equipment and systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, & electrical problems to repair breakdowns and return equipment to optimal efficiencies
  • Working knowledge of PLCs to perform diagnostics & troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of plastic extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding to level of making mold changes and set-ups
  • Job exists to keep equipment / systems functioning during production, which runs consistently 5 days / week. Some Saturday work may be required
  • Experience with downstream equipment
  • Working knowledge to diagnose / troubleshoot facilities equipment systems, such as chillers, compressors, etc.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE :

  • Experience with extrusion blow molding, one-step molding, reheat & blow (or blow molding of any sort) or injection molding processes and equipment is helpful but not required.
  • Experience with plastic extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding to level of making mold changes and set-ups is helpful
  • Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings).
  • Experience with chillers, compressors / ammonia systems (e.g., refrigeration systems).
  • Experience with conveyers and airveyors (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor / speed controls).
  • Experience with electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives / VFDs, etc.).
  • Experience with gearing and gear boxes (rebuilds, ordering parts, machining parts).
  • Experience with hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with kinematics (e.g., line speed / sprocket size ratios, etc.).
  • Experience with packaging / high speed production (e.g., bottling, consumer products, etc.).
  • Experience with PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.).
  • Experience with pneumatics (solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with pneumatics / air compression (e.g., valves, cylinders, etc.).
  • Experience with preventative maintenance
  • Experience with pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals / motors, understanding specs).
  • Experience with metal fabrication.
  • Own tool box and tools is helpful but not required.

Pay will depend on experience and skillset.
