Compensation & Benefits :

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $130K to $165K annually. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.

We are looking for a full-time Regional Director of Business Development.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
  • 7+ years of sales / business development experience, preferably with senior directors or executives in mid- to large-sized healthcare companies.
  • Proven experience in client relationship management, lead generation, and networking within the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and colleagues, both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and develop long-lasting business relationships.
  • A robust professional network within the regional market, with the ability to generate and sustain lasting business relationships.
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, holidays, and / or on other shifts and in other positions, when necessary.

Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrates commitment to the company’s mission, values, and standards of ethical behavior.

  • Ensures that each resident receives superior care in a manner that maintains or enhances their quality of life, and helps them attain and maintain the highest possible mental and physical functional status, in an environment of kindness, dignity, and respect.
  • Ensures quality of care and operational effectiveness through open communication with residents and their family and friends, including managing requests, complaints, and recommendations.

Visits with residents on admission and frequently throughout their stay; meets with residents and their family members to assure needs are met.

Maintains confidentiality of all resident care information.

  • Ensures that all residents’ rights including fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to file complaints, are well established and protected at all times.
  • Complies with and upholds all company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and prioritize new business revenue opportunities and develop strategies for closing new business accounts.
  • Drive business development through self-motivation and performance metrics achievement.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key referral partners and business contacts.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for new markets and initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Engage in prospecting activities, including participation in networking groups and professional organizations, and direct outreach.
  • Leverage employee networks into new relationships for business growth.
  • Maintain relationships with medical professionals, referral sources, and community representatives.
  • Develop quarterly business development plans in collaboration with regional leadership and marketing teams.
  • Track and trend the performance of marketers and regional facilities.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and report activities and pipeline.
  • Participate in market visibility events and other internal growth initiatives.
  • Manage a business development pipeline and adjust daily activity to meet forecasted targets.
  • Attend regular staff and marketing meetings.
  • Participate in the development of marketing plans and community relations activities.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-ups.
  • Provide professional development and training to staff to achieve optimum performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and administer disciplinary actions as needed.
