Job Description :
This is a Software Application Control and Application Architect position who will play a critical role in the management and control of software applications within the Bank.
The person needs to wear many hats to ensure the availability and readiness of software by fulfilling all regulatory, security and compliance related mandates.
In his / her role, the person will need to maintain liaison between development team, regulatory bodies, Security organization and many other stakeholders and ensure Bank's Goals and standards are met and ensure applications' continued readiness and operationality.
This role will also be responsible for delivery, setup and architecture design of the new applications that are being implemented within Client Protection Technology space.
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project / small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams.
Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards.
Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Required Qualifications :
The job requires experience in all aspects of Software Application Controls - preferably in Financial Sector - in relation to Corporate Governance and Compliance, Quality Control, Security Mandates, and Risk Issues.
- Be able to work independently and with teams and be able to reach out across various stake-holders - including Teams and SMEs to get relevant information to complete his / her mandates.
- Should have broader understandings in Software Technologies, Products and various tools that are commonly used to achieve the above-mentioned goals.
- Some examples of activities, but not limited to only those, are - handle Certificate Creation / Renewal, develop and maintain business rules, Passwords vaulting, getting infrastructure vulnerabilities remediated by partnering with the relevant teams, helping in the upgrades of various database patching and OS etc.
- Should be a team player, quick learner, be able to maintain detailed records and keep the team compliant with various Software related administrative rules and regulations.
The success of the operational worthiness of applications depends on his / her work.
Desired Qualifications :
- Share point, MS Excel
- Previous experience in App Governance role
- Technical background
- Knowledge of Splunk, server configurations, Linux shell scripting
- Understanding of the application security design and implementation
- Experience in Banking domain
Responsibilities :
- Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
- Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
- Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
- Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
- Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
- Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
