Pressed Roots is the first silk blow-out bar specializing in textured hair. Combining certified textured hair expertise, nurturing care for hair health, and true luxury hospitality touches, we aim to break down the barriers that have held those with textured hair back from feeling their best.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, guide, and inspire all employees daily
  • Represent and lead from Pressed Roots Core Values
  • Invest time in your people. Identify and mentor the future leaders of our organization
  • Coach and give feedback as necessary for all team members, ensuring Pressed Roots standards are being met at all times
  • Build relationships with Pressed Roots’ clientele, ensuring that our clients experience only the best every visit
  • Maximize the shop's financial potential
  • Understand and optimize your shop's P&L
  • Resolve employee relations and customer issues ensuring the company is protected against liability with a mindfulness of shop morale and culture
  • Execute operations, marketing, and human resources objectives in the shop
  • Manage timekeeping and payroll reporting for your staff
  • Build and maintain employee schedules
  • Perform daily and weekly inventory, and maintain ordering levels
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years of management experience
  • Previous experience in managing a minimum of 15 direct reports
  • Experience in a fast-paced service environment
  • Consistently delivers remarkable customer service and has a genuine passion for quality
  • Advanced experience in recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team
  • Inventory management and scheduling experience
  • Proven track record in growing sales
  • Salon experience and a cosmetology license a plus!
  • Pressed Roots follows all applicable federal, state and local laws in regards to background checks.

Compensation and Benefits

  • 50K to 60K Annually plus bonus potential!
