About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Cardiac Tele Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience, preferred CICU or IMCU experience License : Requires license, can submit with it pending Certifications : COVID-19 Vaccine required;
Medical / Religious exemptions and declinations allowed Must-Have : EPIC charting experience Job Description : Opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a Cardiac Telemetry unit.
- The position requires working every other weekend, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.- Float between units or nearby affiliated hospitals may be required.
- No on-call duties.- Block schedules are not required.- Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4.- Completion of a 40-hour orientation is mandatory.
- Candidates must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
- Modules will be completed pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours.- Travelers refusing to float may risk termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Communication devices will be provided if needed, or reimbursement for work-related phone use may apply.- References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required for submission.
