The Family-owned, Chicago based Importer, Winesellers, Ltd., named Importer of the Year by both Wine & Spirits and Wine Enthusiast, is looking for a top-notch, experienced performer located in Illinois.
Job Overview : As a Graphics Designer, you will be an integral part of our marketing team. You will work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to design a diverse range of materials across both print and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for creativity, capable of turning business challenges into competitive visual solutions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and create a variety of print and digital materials, including sales and marketing collateral, social media content, website assets, landing pages, emails, trade show displays, sales sheets, marketing videos and internal communications.
- Enhance and uphold the company's brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute product photography and video production as needed to support design and marketing projects.
- Perform image retouching, video editing, sound editing, and manipulation to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Conceptualize and design layouts, typography, and visual styles, presenting them for review and approval.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members across marketing and other departments to gather the necessary content, information, and feedback.
- Contribute to team efforts by taking on additional tasks as needed.
Essential Skills & Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer and / or Video Editor; B2B marketing experience is a plus.
- Strong design aesthetics with a keen eye for symmetry, typography, and color.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and innovative thinking.
- Openness to feedback and willingness to rework designs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of design and visual principles, along with best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, and After Effects.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing your creative, design, and software skills.
- Ability to critically evaluate and communicate design choices effectively.
- Basic photography skills.
- Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy, with a solid understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
This is a full-time position that requires 100% on site work hours at the headquarter office, this is not a remote or hybrid position
