Business Resiliency Consultant
Client : Health Insurer
Location : Preference to Chicago or Naperville office, can be made remote
Contract : 3 Month Contract to Hire (possibility of extension)
Pay : $50-$60 / hr. on W2 with benefits, We can not work C2C for this role
Overview
Our client is deploying a new Go-To Market strategy for how they bring in National Accounts and New clients. With this exciting new strategy, comes new business risks, business processes, technology, etc.
Our client is looking for a Business Resiliency consultant to join their Governance team to incorporate operational risk management into a business resiliency plan.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Interviews : Conduct in-depth interviews with lead stakeholders including sales team, brokers, and other key personnel to investigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Documentation & Reporting : Document stakeholder responses, compile findings
- Schedule meetings with business leaders to document contingency strategies
- Identify weaknesses and gaps that may impact meeting requirement timeframes and develop crisis management processes
- Provide weekly status reports
- Develop tabletop business continuity exercises
- Collaboration : Work cohesively with the current team lead to support the creation and refinement of a business resilience playbook, provide support in meetings, follow-ups, and documentation to ensure information is accurately captures and organized
- Communication : Effectively communicate with current governance team, project managers, business, sales, and marketing teams
- Provide assurance and mitigate risk to ensure process will not be disrupted by an incident or crisis event
- Document contingency strategy such as employee loss, facility loss, technology loss, and supplier loss
Skillset
- Experience in Business Continuity / Business Process Management
- Operational Risk Management is a great addition but not requirement
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other project management tools
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with a disciplined approach to follow-ups and reporting
- Curious and self-starter mindset
- 3+ years of experience of Project Management experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high impact environment managing multiple tasks
- In-depth understanding of governing process
