Job Description : We are currently seeking dedicated Special Education Co-Teachers to join our team for full-time positions, encompassing 40 hours per week, for the full school year.
These positions are integral to our K-6 district, focusing on inclusive co-teaching within specified grade levels.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field with Massachusetts SPED certification required.
- Previous experience with elementary inclusion settings strongly preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff.
- Commitment to developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities :
- Co-teach with general education teachers to provide inclusive instruction and support for students with disabilities.
- Implement and monitor IEP goals and accommodations within the general education classroom.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other collaborative activities as part of the multidisciplinary team.
