Schedule InformationShifts are 12 hours, 6 : 45 to 7 : 15.Schedules are made about 2-3 weeks ahead initially, then they try to schedule them out 9 weeks in advance.
Self-scheduling for the most part.4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.Work into perm staff rotation. Unit Specific InformationUnit : IMCU (2 West)Beds in unit : 30 beds.
Ratios : 1 to 3-4 patients per nurse.Floating : float to Tele - 2Central or Tele - 4West.Floor specific orientation : 1 shift on unit.
Common diagnoses / Types of patients : CHF, COPD, Renal failure, pneumonia, will have drips but will not have to titrate.
Additional DetailsCOVID Vaccine Required.NIHSS required.Telemetry, L / D, Emergency, and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS / FAIL test.
