About The Position

1 w / in 12 mo. & 1 w / in 3 years workedModules are required to be done before start of assignment. Modules take on average 3-4 hours to complete-this time is not billable to the hospital.
For Holiday RTO : Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling, but we would include this verbiage on the confirmation.
Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed Shift : 12hr Days + callCall Required : one night per week and up to every other weekendRCIS or ARRT required- Unit : Cath Lab - # of Rooms : 3- Certs & Licensure : BLS, ACLS, RCIS or ARRT required- Cases : 3000 per year- EMR : Cerner, Merge Hemodynamics for Cath Lab documentation- Charge Nurse : Phil Moisuk- Techs : Yes.
Can either be CV Techs or Rad Techs with Cath lab experience- Weekend & Holiday Requirement : Up to every other weekend- Scrubs : Either RN or CV Tech- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house : Intensivist- IV Team : Yes- RT 24 / 7 : Yes- Pharmacy 24 / 7 : Yes- Shifts : 3, 12 hour shifts- Floor specific orientation : 2 shifts- Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath (high acuity).
TAVR and Mitraclip procedures. Some peripheral vascular. Chest Pain center accredited. STEMI tertiary referral center. Cancellation may cancel up to 3 times per contract.
Each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift. If the traveler is called back in during an on call shift, it is not deemed a cancellation.
Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation).
