Prince Telecom is currently hiring entry level Fiber Optic Field Technicians in West Des Moines, IA to join our team and help connect America! Compensation : $18 / hr+ Job Type : Full-Time What you'll do.
Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone. Set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT’s, routers and switches.
Perform testing on company issued devices and customer devices. Interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
Complete paperwork accurately and report / record work order status updates. Customer service duties such as : Greet and interact with customers in a professional courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns;
Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement. Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
