Key Responsibilities

• Lead Installation Projects Take ownership of residential HVAC system installations (central AC, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits), ensuring work meets quality, safety, and code standards
• Mentorship & Team Leadership Supervise and guide HVAC installers and apprentices, ensuring productivity and skill development
• System Startup & Testing Perform and oversee startup and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure proper function and customer satisfaction
• Customer Interaction Act as the primary on-site contact for homeowners; communicate timelines, answer questions, and provide education on system operation
• Low Voltage Wiring & Troubleshooting Lead the setup, connection, and testing of low voltage controls and thermostats
• Job Documentation & Reporting Complete and verify all job-related paperwork, including installation records and material usage
• Worksite Management Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe from start to finish
• Safety & Compliance Enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local code regulations
• Logistics & Equipment Handling Coordinate and participate in loading, unloading, and transporting equipment to job sites
