Position Title : Senior Network Construction Manager (T4)

Role
Position requires experience with small cell, outside plant, and inside plant cable construction in aerial and underground facilities, with knowledge of local and state permitting, pole and conduit licensing procedures, and the ability to manage multiple construction projects and contractors. From project qualification and design through punch-list and close-out, the Small Cell Construction Manager will ensure projects are completed to client and internal specifications, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Small Cell Engineers.
- Build productive cross-functional internal and external stakeholder relationships to accelerate implementation and optimize capital / expense spending.
- Understand project, district, and region finances, P&L and cost impacts.
- Manage external vendors for timely completion within budget.
- Conduct initial constructability reviews per project specifications.
- Develop Construction Bid Packages and bid projects to subcontractors.
- Develop permit and construction plans; order and track third-party materials.
- Oversee site construction, managing schedules and subcontractors to meet customer and internal requirements for large or strategic projects.
- Coordinate construction activities with local / state agencies for permitting and licensing.
- Attend company and client status meetings; provide milestone updates to leadership and project management resources.
- Maintain accuracy in the project tracking system.
- Act as Crown Castle safety observer and QA representative on site; contribute to nationwide safety efforts.
- Participate in vendor evaluation and selection processes.
- Understand prevailing rates and negotiate costs to stay within budget; keep Project Managers and customers informed of issues impacting completion or cost.
- Problem-solve onsite issues and recommend actions to maintain project budgets and timelines.
- Ensure work complies with Crown Castle construction standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

High school diploma or equivalentBS in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction-related field or equivalent work experienceA valid driver's license requiredExperience / Minimum Requirements
Three (3)+ years construction experience, with at least three (3) years direct telecommunications experience or equivalent; at least two (2) years of supervisory contractor construction experience required; three (3)+ years preferred.Knowledge of Outside Plant Construction techniques (aerial & underground) requiredFamiliarity with test equipment and techniques for Grounding and Bonding Tests, RF Sweep, OTDR, Optical Power Meter, and PIM testingWorking knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standardsExpectations

Working Conditions
Travel to project sites with exposure to heavy equipment and variable environmental conditions from 50% up to 90% of the time. Normal office setting for part of the time. On-call rotation may be required.

Compensation
The pay range offered for this position is $47.69 - $65.58 per hour . Offer depends on experience, role-related knowledge, education, and location. The package may include incentive compensation, equity, and other benefits, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 401k, and paid time off (minimum 18 days PTO and 12 holidays).
