What Your Job Will Be Like :
We are seeking a Technical Business Development Specialist to join the Business and Competitive Intelligence and DAV-C department.
On any given day, you may be called upon to develop and implement a continuum of business development functions to support Sandia’s mission, research, and technology strategies.
Responsibilities include :
- Conduct primary research to prepare materials to communicate Sandia’s success in technology transfer and partnerships, including success stories, award nomination, and other related materials via various internal and external channels.
- Keeps informed about developments in government, economic, scientific, and other fields related to program mission objectives.
- Manages proposal development, compiles and drafts technical and partnership elements of proposals.
- Prepares briefings for leadership and Federal sponsors, including but not limited to NNSA and DOE.
- Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
- Maintaining Sandia’s web presence and ensuring content is updated regularly.
- Develops long-form case studies to regularly assess and share information related to specific Sandia-developed technologies and relevant partnerships.
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
Salary Range : $66,900 - $150,000

Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
Qualifications We Require :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Research, Economics, National Security or relevant discipline plus four or more years of experience;
or Master's degree in Business or relevant discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience (12 years relevant experience)
- Experience with writing and editing for large and complex projects, including interviewing subject matter experts, conducting research and drafting documentation
