We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer (aka The Code Sage) to lead the way in developing innovative software that sets the standard for excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership : Provide expert-level guidance on software architecture, design, and development across multiple projects.

You’ll be the person everyone turns to for advice on tackling the most complex technical challenges.

  • System Design and Development : Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software systems. You’ll ensure that our systems are robust, maintainable, and built to last, setting the standard for engineering excellence.
  • Mentorship and Team Development : Mentor and support other engineers, helping them to grow their skills and advance in their careers.

You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the engineering team.

  • Code Quality Advocate : Establish and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation. You’ll be the guardian of code quality, ensuring that all software meets the highest standards before it’s released.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with business goals.

You’ll translate complex requirements into actionable technical strategies.

Innovation Evangelist : Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team.

You’ll help us explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that can give us a competitive edge.

Problem-Solving Expert : Tackle the most challenging technical issues that arise during development. Whether it’s debugging a tricky problem or optimizing performance, you’ll be the engineer who finds the solutions no one else can.

Required Skills :

Technical Mastery : Extensive experience in software development, with deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools.

You’re as comfortable writing code as you are reviewing it.

  • Architectural Expertise : Proven ability to design and implement complex, scalable systems. You have a deep understanding of design patterns, system architecture, and best practices in software engineering.
  • Leadership Excellence : Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers, with a track record of helping teams deliver high-quality software.

You’re the kind of leader who can elevate the performance of everyone around you.

  • Problem-Solving Savvy : Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems. You have a knack for finding elegant solutions to the most challenging issues.
  • Communication Skills : Strong ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Educational Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience with a proven track record in software development is also valued.
  • Certifications in cloud architecture, microservices, or other relevant technologies are a plus. If you’ve contributed to open-source projects or published papers on software engineering, that’s even better.

Experience Requirements :

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with significant experience as a senior or principal engineer. You’ve designed and built systems that have scaled successfully in production environments.
  • Proven experience in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with a strong understanding of full-stack development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices. You’re comfortable working in complex, distributed environments.
