RN - Clinical Resource Specialist Cardiac / Structural Full Time No weekends No holidays Primary responsibility is to serve as a resource and leader in the continuum of care for our Structural Heart patients.
This includes the clinical workup of new patients, managing meds, placing ancillary testing and procedural orders, working in-basket messages, patient education, scheduling procedures and clinic visits, and coordinating clinical support on procedure day.
This individual would understand all facets of the Structural Heart clinical and procedural workup, assist in the creation of standard work and processes to ensure the patient has the Mercy experience of high-quality care while experiencing compassionate and individualized service.
Will collaborate with surgeons, clinic co-workers, perioperative co-workers and leaders, and inpatient nursing co-workers to identify opportunities for improvement in the continuum of perioperative care and assist in the development of processes to meet Mercy’s dimensions of excellence.

Qualifications : Experience : 2 years intraoperative experience. Preferred Experience : 5 years Cardiac experience. Required Education : Nursing Degree from an accredited school Preferred Education : Bachelor's degree preferred.
License : current RN license in our state Certifications : Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association Preferred Certification / Registration : CNOR preferred.
