Description

Assistant Nurse Manager - NICU Department at Providence St Vincent. This position is a 1 FTE Variable shift.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $8,000 for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The Associate Nurse Manager is accountable for the provision and quality of nursing services at the facility - department level for a defined department(s), in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals.

This includes strategically ensuring a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction;

and cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups. With a constant focus on patient-centeredness and staff and patient safety, the Associate Nurse Manager creates and maintains standards and systems for care delivery for their department(s).

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or in related field.
  • National Certification from ANA or Professional Organization in relevant field of clinical expertise upon hire.
  • 6 years in nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles.
