We are looking for a difference maker! We are a growing MSP and looking for an experienced Systems Administrator that loves technology, enjoys tackling complex problems, and thrives on making the customer experience amazing.
As a Managed Service Provider, the environment is fast paced, demands accountability and teamwork, and is rewarding.
Responsibilities :
- Discovery - Ability to jump into new environments to discover / document network as well as make recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Design, implement, and support server architecture including Windows Server, SQL, Exchange, VMWare, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with setting up and maintaining Windows Domains, GPOs, and Active Directory
- Design, Implement, and Support disaster recovery solutions.
- Technical services and support at the network level : WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Experience with configuring business-class firewalls and VPNs.
- Work with clients, vendors, and 3rd party consultants to implement technical solutions projects for infrastructure and desktops.
- Ability to work independently and with a team of technicians.
- System documentation maintenance and recommendations.
- Communication with customers / team as required : keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages.
Qualifications :
- Advanced troubleshooting of technical issues
- Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
- Interpersonal skills : such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
- Professional IT Certifications, such as : Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco CCNA, etc.
