Piper Companies is in search of a Wireless Network Consulting Engineer for a leading global technology firm. This position offers remote work and will require 30-35% travel to client sites.
The Wireless Network Consulting Engineer will work closely with technology groups, solutions engineers, system integrators, and project teams to design, build, test, and deploy wireless solutions for large enterprise customers.
Responsibilities - Wireless Network Consulting Engineer (Site Surveys) :
- Collaborate with customers to optimize networks
- Design, engineer, and implement wireless solutions
- Resolve customer issues and assist in RF design
- Utilize lab resources for testing and validation
Requirements - Wireless Network Consulting Engineer (Site Surveys) :
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience conducting Predictive and Real World Surveys utilizing Ekahau AI Pro, and Sidekick I&II)
- An understanding of RTLS (Real Time Location Services) wireless deployments
- At least 3 years of network engineering experience
- Proficiency in LAN Switching, Routing, and WLAN protocol
- Experience designing and surveying for Wifi 6 wireless deploymentsExperience with Cisco 98xx Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) preferred
- Experience with Cisco Meraki and Cisco DNA Center preferred
Compensation - Wireless Network Consulting Engineer (Site Surveys) :
- Annual Salary Expectations $70,000 - $100,000
