Governance and Experience team of e-commerce are responsible for ensuring the safety and trustworthiness of the marketplace for users, sellers, and creators.

Responsibilities :
- Work with a team to design and implement algorithms to detect and control risks / frauds in contents / products / sellers / creators
- Collaborate with strategy team, product managers, policy team, and ops team to help define products and drive initiatives from engineering viewpoints
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Ph.D.'s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply!
- Graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline;
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- An understanding or keen interest in machine learning, NLP, or computer vision.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, Python, Go, or Java.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Interest or experience in anti-fraud, anti-spam, platform-integrity, or similar fields would be a plus.
- A profound sense of responsibility, coupled with exceptional communication and teamwork skills

For Pay Transparency
Compensation Description (annually) :
- The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $129,200 - $194,750 annually.
- Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and restricted stock units.
