Full Stack Developer

Job Description

The Swift Group is looking for a Full Stack Developer to support applications development and operations and maintenance of a variety of systems and initiatives focused on streamlining operations, automating processes, and aligning customer solutions to the overarching digital architecture.

The ideal candidate will help promote state-of-the-art IT solutions, collaborating with IT mission partners to share technology and lessons learned and ensure records management processes and requirements are included in the early design stages of IT solutions across the Intelligence Community.

Additionally, this individual will work in concert with the customer technical interfaces to ensure plans for technology are in line with the plans for the overall customer architecture.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in working in the Intelligence Community
• Proficient in one or more object-oriented languages (Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python R)
• Experience with modern application frameworks and libraries (Spring Boot, NodeJS-NestJS, Angular, Ruby on Rails, jQuery, etc.
• Must know how to use an IDE to code (ex - IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans)
• Hands on experience with cloud technology (AWS / EC2)
• Experience with API integration using REST and service-oriented architecture (SOA) - Spring Boot, Tomcat
• SQL or MySQL experience
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Ability to work independently
• BS / BA in Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or similar OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• US citizenship with an active TS / SCI with Polygraph required at start

Desired Skills

• Experience with Microservices
• Experience with front end development using Angular
• Familiarity with Source code management and integration (ex - GitHub / GitLab, Jenkins)
• Experience in an Agile environment
• MA / MS Degree
