Facilities Technician

Job Description

The Facilities Technician will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC maintenance, basic carpentry, and painting.

The Technician will also assist with janitorial duties and will address site needs to ensure the safety of our employees, the security of our assets, and the aesthetics of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC maintenance, basic carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Assist with janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Address site needs to ensure employee safety and asset security.
• Ensure the aesthetics of the facility are maintained.

Essential Skills

• Experience in facilities maintenance
• Proficiency in drywall and painting
• General labor skills, including moving furniture
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase electrical work
• Plumbing skills
• HVAC maintenance and repair experience
• Carpentry skills

Work Environment

This is a production environment that can be loud at times. The team size ranges from 8 to 12 members. The dress code requires a shirt, pants, and close-toed shoes, with steel-toed shoes recommended for maintenance tasks.

The position operates on the first shift with opportunities for overtime.
