- Administers medication in compliance with scope of practice.
- Demonstrates competence in the operation of imaging, physiological monitoring, and related equipment; Performs basic troubleshooting for this equipment.

- The Registered Radiologic Technologist is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility of patients for a designated time frame and to provide care, specifically in the Invasive Lab.
- The patient population consists of those requiring an invasive cardiology or invasive radiology study.
- The Registered Radiologic Technologist will assist the physician in all procedures and provide a valuable service to the patient and the team.

Schedule Information
- Performs on call duties and / or work variable shifts as assigned to meet department needs.
- Required to float to all procedural areas.
Unit Specific Information
- Able to work around and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
- Administers and withholds contrast and treatment as appropriate.
- Assess patients for allergies.
- Function as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis during procedures.
- Assists physician during interventional procedures.
- Able to take call after 6 months of orientation.
Additional Details
