Broad Function :
Summer 2024 Extended School Year (ESY) Speech Language Pathologist
ESY programs July 8-August 1 / August 2, 2024
In person :
- Elementary Academic M-Th 9-11
- Elementary High Needs M-F 9-12
- Secondary M-F 9-12
- Staff hours are 15 minutes before and after program hours.
of hours / week depends on student need
July 1-5, 2024- up to 4 hours of prep time during this week
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Provide direct individual or small group to address students' IEP goals / objectives
- Establish a productive learning environment and classroom culture
- Maintain timely student attendance and progress records
- Consult with other service providers to address student needs
- Engage as a partner in planning and problem solving
- Performs other related duties as requested by the ESY Coordinator or Supervisor of Student Services and Special Education
Qualifications and Experience :
- Applicants must hold current certification in Speech / Language Pathology.
- Current experience working with students demonstrating a range of academic and social learning needs is preferred.
- Applicants must be committed to working the entire ESY session.
Salary & Compensation :
$63 / hour
