CLAIMS MAILROOM SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

Delta Dental of Arizona, the state's #1 dental and vision insurance company, is looking for a Mailroom Support Associate to manage the inflow of mail for the company.

Attention to detail and managing deadlines are core responsibilities.

This is a part-time, in-office position with hours Monday through Thursday, 12pm - 5 pm. Starting pay for this position is between $16-17 per hour.

Essential Functions

Retrieve mail from building mailroom daily / sign any documents as needed.

Open envelopes and separate claims / documents in accordance with the claims sorting and record handling policy. Batch claims by applicable categories and scan to ICS using Kodak scanner as needed.

Scan physical documents / claims into the claims routing system while adding specific data to the file for correct file placement.

Route electronic files to the appropriate departments / entities within proper document and claims processing protocols.

Review electronic files to determine what claims data may be entered and entering the data directly into the claims system.

Provide Front lobby coverage, greet any walk-ins or sign in any guests for appointments etc., as required.

Complete twice daily internal mail pickup and routing for all associates / associates mailboxes.

Organize scans (consultant Reviews, eligibility and Images for scan only) into properly labeled storage boxes in storage areas.

Assist facilities supervisor in ordering and restocking office supplies daily.

Work closely with the facilities supervisor on special projects as well as ongoing print / shipping support requests when necessary.

Assist with special projects as assigned by management. Other functions may include copy requests, delivery, shipping and office supply inventory.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Some experience with typical office equipment such as copiers, computers and basic business applications

Extreme attention to detail is required

The ability to lift up to 35 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time is required

Superior written and verbal communications skills are required

Salary Description

Starting pay $16-17
