30 bed Step Down unit. N : P 1 : 3-4 for the step down ratiosAge Groups of Patients : Adults and GeriatricTop 10 Diagnosis / Procedures : ARDS, Sepsis, Neurosurgery, Stroke, Cardiac Surgery, Resp Failure, Multi Organ failure, MI, CHF, DiabetesAny special procedure done on the unit?

Chest tubes, Central Lines, drainsTitrate Vasoactive Drips- Dopamine, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Cardene, AmiodoraneFamilarity with Pacemakers (Epicardial as well as permanent) as well as expereince with vasoactive meds, Ventilators, chest tubes, Central Lines, drains

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse, PCU

Experience : 2 years

Licenses : RN-CA

Certifications : BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA

Preferred Qualifications

Cerner

Tele Interpretation

Ventilators

IV Insertion

Familarity with Pacemakers (Epicardial as well as permanent) as well as expereince with vasoactive meds, chest tubes, Central Lines, drains
