We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Software Developer in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The primary function of this role is to contribute to our team's ongoing cloud modernization journey by designing and implementing microservice platforms using the latest technology trends.
Responsibilities :
- Develop technical solutions that fulfill business requirements, focusing on solution scalability, availability, security, quality, and maintainability
- Lead the implementation of new applications and services as part of proof-of-concept projects
- Write and maintain high-quality code in alignment with approved code standards
- Assist in resolving production escalations and system operations issues as needed
- Mentor team members in adopting new cloud service technologies and staying current with global market tech trends
- Help management prioritize development decisions, ensuring alignment with technical strategic objectives
- Contribute to the estimation, analysis, design, and operations of multiple microservices owned by the team
- Remain updated on all eCommerce related technologies to support enterprise applications and infrastructure
- Occasionally participate in the design and implementation of system integrations utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous options
- Actively participate in the development of event-driven and microservice architecture services using technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
- Proficient in software development languages including Java and SQL
- Experience with cloud technologies and libraries
- Deep understanding of design concepts and the ability to implement them
- Capable of performing ad hoc financial operations
- Knowledgeable in security principles as they pertain to software development
- Familiarity with workstation support
- Expertise in website development and maintenance
- Experience with the Sprint Framework
- Possess leadership skills and the ability to work in a team
- Proficient in making professional presentations
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong background in computer sciences
- Knowledge of R Code is a plus
- Experience in payment processing software is preferred
- Understanding of quality control in software production
- Strong skills in event planning and brand awareness
- Experience in the implementation and engineering of software solutions.
