REGISTERED NURSE - PAIN / SPINE

MONDAY-FRIDAY, 730AM-4PM

Job Details :

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Pain Management department. This is a permanent, full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts, with no nights or weekends.

We offer a comprehensive training program, so even if you do not have specific experience in Pain Management, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities :

As a Pain Management RN, your primary responsibilities will include :

1. Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.

2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized pain management plans.

3. Administering medications and performing procedures as ordered by physicians.

4. Monitoring patients' responses to treatments and adjusting care plans as necessary.

5. Educating patients and their families about pain management strategies and self-care techniques.

6. Documenting all patient interactions and treatments accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record system.

7. Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with the latest advancements in pain management.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. Current and unrestricted RN license.

2. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pain, critical care, ICU, or ER settings.

3. Demonstrated proficiency in performing nursing procedures.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and advocate for patients.

5. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound clinical decisions.

6. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a strong commitment to improving patients' quality of life.

7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

8. Basic computer skills, including proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
