AlphaBEST Education, Inc. - Group Leader : Before & After School Teacher - Part-time

Salary : $15.00

At AlphaBEST, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide, you'll lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training.

Location : Elementary & Middle schools within Norman Public Schools

Schedule : We operate Monday - Friday (no weekends!). Before-school hours are approximately 6 : 15 am - 7 : 50 am and after-school hours are approximately 2 : 30 pm - 6 : 00 pm.

As an AlphaBEST Guide, you'll be trained and have the chance to do the following :

• Plan and facilitate core programming to advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
• Work collaboratively with peers to share program-related information and complete adventurous tasks that ignite a child's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on the student's interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.

Here's what you'll need :

• Must have the verifiable education and / or experience that is required for childcare licensing by the state of Oklahoma.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
