The Role

We are expanding our global presence and setting up a new office in Pakistan. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Office Manager with HR expertise to lead the launch and daily operations of our new office, ensuring it runs smoothly while also managing human resources functions.

The Office Manager with HR responsibilities will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing our new office in Pakistan.

This individual will oversee daily operations, ensure a productive work environment, and lead HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.

This role requires a proactive leader capable of building an office culture that reflects our company's values and fosters growth.

This is a full time onsite position where you will have the opportunity to drive the culture of the studio.

You will be a part of a company of super-achievers who work together to bring forth the evolution of entertainment. The ideal candidate has prior game dev experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic.

We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. We would love someone with a deep passion for innovation, strong product management skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, creative-minded environment.

Responsibilities

Office Management :

  • Set up and manage the day-to-day operations of the new office, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee office logistics, including procurement of office supplies, facility management, and vendor relationships.
  • Implement office policies and procedures to maintain a safe, productive, and collaborative environment.
  • Serve as the point of contact for any office-related issues and ensure they are resolved promptly.
  • Coordinate and organize office events, meetings, and team-building activities.

Human Resources :

  • Lead the recruitment process for the Pakistan office, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Oversee onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into the company and office culture.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, including payroll, employee benefits, and health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and practices that align with the overall company goals and values.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Leadership and Strategy :

  • Collaborate with leadership to define office goals and KPIs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive office culture that reflects the company's mission and values.
  • Act as a liaison between the Pakistan office and the company's global headquarters, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on HR matters, including career development, training opportunities, and work-life balance initiatives.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in office management and HR roles, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices in Pakistan.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage office operations and HR functions simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive team culture.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and managing employee relations.
  • Proficient in office management tools, HR systems, and collaboration platforms.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to take initiative and make decisions independently.
  • Experience in setting up a new office or leading expansion efforts.
  • Familiarity with the web3 industry, blockchain technologies, or tech startups.
  • Ability to work United States business hours
  • Fluency in both English and Urdu is preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
