Director of Events and Sales Qualifications :
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in large scale, high profile events
- Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse portfolio of events, including corporate functions, product launches, activations, and celebrity events
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Director of Events and Sales Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, optimize operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team of event managers, coordinators, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Event Management : Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of all on and off-premise events, ensuring flawless coordination of logistics, staffing, and resources.
- Client Relations : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver customized solutions and exceed expectations.
- Vendor Management : Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in all event-related services and supplies.
- Budget Management : Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
