Senior Manager, External Supply Chain

As a Senior Manager for External Supply Chain, you will provide operational execution and oversight for a set of External Supply Chain partner relationships, including partners classified as strategic.

In collaboration with the leadership team, you will help guide strategic direction and serve as the escalation point between Kellanova and its External Supply Chain partners.

In addition, this role interfaces with and provides end-to-end partnerships with other key functions, such as Quality, R&D, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Logistics, Supply Planning, etc.

This hybrid role can be based in our Chicago, IL, or Battle Creek, MI, offices.

A Taste of What Youll Be Doing

Drive Operational Performance ensure delivery of quality, food safety, service, cost, innovation, and continuous improvements.

Drive operational excellence for food safety / quality, service, OEE, and waste.Perform operational performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.

• Leadership Develop and drive comprehensive execution for the assigned locations.
• Think Fiscally Develop and maintain an annual Budget for assigned locations.Monitor and understand PPV variances and provide an update on risks and opportunities.
• Support Innovation Support the innovation team directly and indirectly from product development through start-up. Provide direct person-to-person functional links between Kellanova and the External Partner.
• Delivering Annual Productivity Savings Plan and execute collaborative ideation sessions annually with each partner to reduce costs to a targeted level, improve quality and service levels, and maintain or improve bottom-line results.

Were Looking for Someone With

• Bachelors Degree plus experience in Supply Chain or related areas.
• Requires strong leadership, communication, and planning skills.
• Ability to travel 50%.
• Manufacturing, engineering, and / or supply chain experience coupled with an understanding of what drives success in the business.
• Must have a proven developing track record and ability to work with all management levels and external supply chain companies.
• Strong understanding of supplier relationship management.
