Are you a passionate Physical Therapist eager to work in an educational setting? Soliant Education is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in South Amboy, NJ.
This role offers the opportunity to provide vital physical therapy services to students, helping them achieve their best possible outes in a supportive school environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Develop Therapy Programs : Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate Effectively : Partner with teachers, school staff, and parents to establish and execute effective therapy strategies.
- Track Progress : Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Provide Education : Educate students, families, and school personnel on physical therapy techniques and best practices.
- Maintain Records : Keep accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP Meetings : Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support goal setting and acmodations.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background : Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensure : Current Physical Therapist license in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience : Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills : Excellent munication and teamwork skills, with a patient-focused approach.
