Qualifications
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required.
High school diploma required
Previous experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism preferred
Experience working with physically aggressive children or adults preferred
Certification in the use of standardized physical management strategies
What does the position look like?
Individualized 1 : 1 play-based ABA therapy aligning with the client's individualized treatment plan.
Direct supervision by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Function as an active participant in the client's treatment team through collaboration with clinical staff and family.
Educate for appropriate social and play skills with peers.
Teach functional Educational skills.
Target behavioral reduction.
