A real estate software platform fund company in San Francisco is looking to add a Hands On Principal Software Java Engineer to your team on a full-time basis.
This company provides full services within acquiring, renovating, and creating affordable rental homes for its customers.
They were started by a early legacy team from Uber. This startup has acquired over $2B in assets and have been scaling and implementing new innovative tech products that are successfully fighting the problem to create more and better affordable rental housing.
As a Principal Software engineer, you will be working on their AI field optimization tool, implementing a new backend environment while implementing new features for their new product line.
You will have the technical leadership on projects, have a voice at the higher-level meetings, and have the autonomy to discuss the future direction of the team going forward.
Required Skills & Experience
- Expert with Java coding
- Experience with Spring Boot framework fundamentals
- Expertise working on products and working closely with Product Managers
- Previous production experience coding in Python
- Past experience working in a startup
- Experience working within cloud environments.

- Experience working with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Proficient with data engineering responsibilities
