40hrs / wk; 10 : 45pm-6 : 45am

Job Duties :
- Provide direct care to patients with psychiatric conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and record patient behavior, mental status, and activities.
- Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team and healthcare professionals.
- Assist in the implementation of therapeutic interventions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create a supportive and healing environment.
- Implement safety measures and interventions to prevent and manage challenging behaviors.
- Participate in de-escalation techniques and crisis interventions as needed.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities, recreational programs, and social interactions.
- Foster a positive and respectful environment that promotes the well-being of each patient.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team, psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and care planning sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting care provided and observed behaviors.
- Adhere to documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements :
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Previous experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, treatments, and therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Compassion and empathy for individuals with mental health challenges.
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards of care.
